So what are the reasons behind this latest round of layoffs? Is it a perfect storm of badness? D&DI delay/failure + bad economy = layoffs? Or is this just business as usual for Wizards (layoffs of big names right after 3e happened as well)?

Topic 2: Druid Preview

Druids level 1-3 previewed on D&DI. As this is D&DI only content, please See attachment pdf for details. The Druid is created anew as a controller through the use of human form for long distance hits and shape changing for close up combat. How does this much awaited class hold up with the information we have from the preview?

Topic 3: Bard Preview

The Bard preview was released a while ago and we kind of skipped over it. So while we are looking at the Druid, Rob thought we should also look back at the Bard before too much time goes by. Does the bard seem like a fun class to play? Did they capture the flavor from 3e? Is it an improvement?

Topic 4: D&DI Updates

"I’m willing to upgrade my previous release date of "early next year" to "very early next year." As I explained in DI #14, that release date will be the first time folks get to see all 30 levels of content and it will almost certainly come in conjunction with a price increase. However, existing subscribers will get the Character Builder added "for free" to the remaining length of their subscription. In other words: lock in $4.95/month now and enjoy a year full of upgrades and enhancements all at that same price. It’s actually a pretty ridiculous value… I know I’m inherently biased on the subject, but especially in economic conditions where everyone is looking to get good value for their entertainment dollar I think "
So it looks like everyone who signs up before the full release will get the "add on" for free for a while at least.

Which of the Lord's have played (or ran) the classic module I6:Ravenloft (1st Ed)? If not, have you played any of its successors? These could include I10:Ravenloft II:The House on Gryphon Hill (1st Ed), RM4: House of Strahd (2nd Ed), or Expedition to Castle Ravenloft (3rd Ed)? Any thoughts on these modules?

Although Lords of Tyr is primarily a D&D podcast, are there any other RPG horror games you have played and enjoyed. Obviously Call of Cthulu and White Wolf's games would be the big ones, but there were others as well.

Almost all of the major d20 3^rd party publishers have announced that until the OGL is changed or updated they will not be producing content for 4e. Is this announcement a good sign that their forced embargo will come to an end soon?

4th Edition D&D. There is still a lot of uproar from a vocal segment of the gaming population over 4th Ed. Ultimately, do you think it will bring back more old and new gamers or drive old gamers away?

In an attempt to mollify gamers upset with 4th Edition Pazio has released the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. This game is and OGL game which updates enough game elements to be a "D&D 3.75". Will this find an audience? Might it be a good move for DM's like Todd who are not ready/willing to convert to 4th Ed but not happy with 3.5?
